This is one of Ralph Earle's most useful works. Great for the serious lay person or the busy pastor who wants to know the meanings of key words in the original text but doesn't have enough Greek -- or enough time! -- to dig them out for him/herself. I was especially glad to see this in a Kindle version. I live and work in several different countries, so I'm not buying paper books anymore if I can avoid it. They're too expensive to move! Anyway, Earle's Word Meanings in the NT is a worthwhile addition to any Christian's library.

I'm reading this book and entering notes in my Bible software. The author was one of the translators for the NIV Bible. It sheds light on the meaning of many words and phrases. It also points out words, phrases and verses etc that aren't in the best (older) manuscripts.
Excellant word study helps.
